Political Parties
For any political party or organization to participate in an election, it must be registered with the Electoral Commission of Namibia as stipulated in terms of Section 39 of the Electoral Act. The Commission shall then direct the Director to register such party if the Commission is satisfied that it is the principle object of that political party to participate in and promote elections under this Act.
